Tried the Bacchanal buffet at the Caesars Palace hotel in Las Vegas and must give it a 5star rating. We went to the brunch session The place was huge open an airy. The service was excellent. Our server came by numerous times to check on how we were doing. Very friendly and took care of all our request very quickly. Fantastic to see that kind of service at a place do busy.
There were different areas for each type of food category. The Asian area had dim sum, congee (a type of rice porridge) with a variety of ingredients to flavor the congee. There was Aldo a number of Asian dishes too. Made to order noodle soup bowls with toppings to flavor.
A Mexican flavor food area with some unique breakfast brunch type items. An interesting item that was very good was the lobster eggs Benedict. Excellent variation of the usual sauce with a lobster flavored one. Must try.
Omelette made to order with smear carving table and done if your standard breakfast items. There was an area for healthy food choices too. Cucumber watermelon fresh squeezed juice.
Seafood counter was really good. Shrimp cocktail. NO SHELLS TO PEEL! That made my day. Stone crab legs and cold marinated mussels. Hot seafood items included cooked green lip mussels in a wine sauce. Seafood hot pasta and shrimp orzo. Little neck clams with a white sauce.
The dessert bar was amazing. All the usual items and fresh made crepes with your choice of toppings. The crepes actually had some flavor by itself without adding ingredient toppings.
The creme boulle was excellent. Flan was okay just on the tiny side as far as the portion displayed.
Would love to try everything but no room.
Definitely would recommend. I might even try the dinner too. Pricing can be a little high but look for special promos. We found on that included one mimosa per person.
