| - Ah yes, nothing like getting blatantly ignored by the staff after they take your friend's order. Then followed by counting their till and looking over your head as they continue to completely ignore your existence. And then watch as they take someone else's order five minutes later when they come in, butt you in line, and ridicule you for not standing at the order corner that is literally 5cm away from where you're currently standing. Ah yes, nothing better! A+++ service.
Seriously, my friend and I come in as a pair, the lady takes her order over the pick up counter (which we didn't even know at first because she literally turned to us and asked if there was anything she could help us with), my friend pays, then completely ignores me even after my friend receives her drink. They start counting their till and for some reason completely disregards how I'm still standing there, waiting for them to take my order. It's not until after they finish and when someone else comes in and they take their order do I step in. I thought it was weird that they had to count their till while a customer was still there but maybe they had to do it for whatever reason. Anyway, the man was flipping rude, pointing to the sign above his head and talking loudly about "did they not see the sign?"
It's not even about if I saw the sign since the lady took my friend's order over the PICK UP COUNTER. She didn't even ask if I wanted anything or tell me to order 5cm away on the other side. I've worked years in customer service and I'll tell you, proper service is asking your customer for anything even if your customer is in the wrong line or whatever. Proper service is not ignoring your customer even though you just took their friend's order from the same place. And it certainly is NOT ridiculing your customer along with some other rude customer who has no idea what happened and instead stuck to rude assumptions.
TLDR: Drink is ok (1 star). I guess. Tastes nothing like the ShareTea in Markham, but alright. Service is dog poop. :)
