  • It's not a bad spot, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it warrants a repeat trip out to Waxhaw. There are so many great breweries in Charlotte, that someone who lives in uptown and the surrounding areas doesn't have to travel far for good craft beer. For those who live in Waxhaw, they have a local spot to get their craft beer craving. I did enjoy the TJ's ale, it was quite drinkable and my husband liked the hoppy booty ale (don't remember the actual name), but we didn't care for their hefewizen or lager. If either of those beers were ever on tap in the uptown area, I would order it.
