I am so sad to be writing a poor review today on this Target location as I come here often. I ordered a gift online for a birthday party to pick up in the store the same day. I arrived to find that the item they selected was completely incorrect. Ok, mistakes happen. No big deal. The woman at the counter then tells me (with my screaming/crying 8 month and 2 yr old toddler in the cart) that I have to go to the very back furthest part of the store to go find the item that I paid for and should have already been waiting for me. I ask what aisle and she simply says "I don't know....but it's usually in the way back. " I showed her a picture of the correct item so she could go get it and she insisted that I do it!! I race to the back corner as the birthday party was to start in 30 min with a full-on hysterical baby to find that they don't even have the item! I return back to the service counter with the woman simply saying "oh darn, well we'll just cancel the order." It is completely unacceptable that I had to do this woman's job, especially with all of the money that I have spent in the store. It also defeats the purpose of online shopping with in store pick up if I have to actually go and shop around on the store! Needless to say I was extremely late for the party as I did not have a gift. This was such poor customer service I don't know what else to say. There was no apology and no compensation. Very disappointed!
