  • I have now visited this salon at least 5 times. It is right next to my neighborhood, so I really wanted to frequent it! I have now had two bad (and painful!!!) experiences. On the first instance, my cuticles were shredded during my manicure. I did not realize when I was there, but a day later my cuticles started to be sore, and the next day a few of them were bleeding. It was very painful. My next bad visit was about 3 months after this experience, and was last week. I got both a pedi and mani. My pedicure was good until she went to correct my toe painting with the brush and I must've been cut while trimming my toes because it was the most intense burning feeling ever! She cut way too deep. My hands were done terribly- I had to have to fix one nail before I even left- and the nail polish was on really thick. The next day it was already peeling- and once again my cuticles are sore and shredded. I won't be going here again. With two experiences with hurting cuticles, it has to be a combination of technique and equipment. I don't understand how this could happen twice, with two different nail techs. I know the place isn't expensive, but I should not be in pain from visiting.
