Great movie theater - horrible restaurant.
The self check kiosks are nice as well as their integration to Fandango for advanced purchases. Comfortable seats, endless rows of concession options and you can flavor your soda whatever!
Dining, on the other hand, is absolutely terrible.
My wife and I went to the movies yesterday and thought we would save time by eating at the restaurant on the second floor. Back during the early years of the theater, the restaurant had a great food and drink menu.
While the food is okay, the service is absolutely lousy. We had to ask for napkins, did not receive silverware or plastic ware of any type, and originally did not receive our appetizer.
Star #1 - typical run of the mill movie theater.
Star #2 - food cooked as expected
Star #3 - for the manager that gave us complimentary vouchers for receiving such poor service.
Go here to see a movie, but dine elsewhere. The Waterfront is full of amazing restaurants. It's a shame because the Loews Club was once a great restaurant. Not anymore...
