  • Estiatorio Milos was the site of Mother's Day lunch with my two favorite women. The atmosphere was ideal for dining on the terrace as the weather was near perfect which allowed us to enjoy some fresh air and nice views of the Strip. We enjoyed our lunches from the popular $29 three course menu featuring smaller portions of freshly flown in seafood daily. The dining areas were close to capacity but not overly busy for a traditionally hectic day for most restaurants. We were seated immediately at our 1:30 reservation time and received first class service from start to finish. The menu was reviewed thoroughly by our server and courses were timed perfectly. An entree and a few bites of dessert was a sufficient amount food for my daughter and allowed me to have both the grilled octopus and Shetland Island organic salmon tartar as my appetizers. Although the octopus gets a plenty of worthy praise, the fresh salmon with its distinct oily flavor enhanced with the just the right amount of Fresno chile and oil was definitely no slouch. My entree was the grilled Dorade Royal which has a similar texture and is full of bones just like the Filipino favorite Pampano, but has a much cleaner flavor. Add some capers and extra virgin olive oil, and the fish entire fish disappeared quickly. Although a simple recipe that everyone is familiar, my wife loved the tomato salad and she commented, "I could eat this at every meal," because the perfectly ripe tomatoes and fresh feta put the salad over the top. Both my wife and daughter enjoyed the chicken skewers for their entree. The juicy, organic chicken was cooked and seasoned flawlessly. The desserts were simple and the portions were small, but were a great finish to the meal. With the addition of a supplementary charge for the octopus, an al a carte order of mushrooms, and two glasses of wine, the total for lunch for three was $180. Although I wasn't completely blown away, everything was delicious and I would recommend everything that we tasted and would definitely recommend the lunch menu, especially for those looking for fresh seafood in personalized portions.
