  • The good thing about the venue is the floor is not flat but rises as it goes to the back giving everyone a decent view. However the sound system is ok in a city that has venues with much better sound .Neither was the projections I saw with the Black Angels which looked better up close but got blurry the further you were away. the biggest issue I have is with security , the main person told me to check my camera - he had a glance and INSISTED it was a pro job but it was this cheap[ a bridge camera with a non- detachable lens ] banged up thing . I told him to look closer and also I was there to capture my friend's band [local} and nothing else but it was a big no , not unlike what I have endured elsewhere with the Amphitheatre , Velvet Underground and sometimes the Phoenix. You would think I was in North Korea and not Toronto....... . Really depends on who you deal with at the door . I respect policies but not power trips .
