| - For a local, I need to get out more, ha ha. I was really surprised with Santa Fe - bowling. For sure I thought, tons of locals would be there, would be crowded, smoky, tons of kids, but it was not. Walking through the casino, it was not smoky at all. My biggest pet peeve in hotels, bad air filtering and smelling stinky when you get home. Red Rock casino was more smoky than Sante Fe!! The bowling alley was good. We usually go to Red Rock and it's a hike to get drinks, but having the bar right near our lane, bathrooms, really convenient. We lucked out with no kids running around, crossing lanes and crazed mothers trying to keep up with them. However, huge downfall are the drinks. Bartender pours exact jiggers - hate measured drinks. Who even does that anymore? Especially when you have locals there??? Super watered down, very disappointed in the bar. Drink at home before you go! Lanes were good, clean, tho, some of the people in our gang thought they were warped as the balls were doing some crazy rolling. It's a decent bowling alley and served it's purpose.
