| - We stayed over Halloween weekend in a Go room. We probably wouldn't stay here again, but it was perfectly acceptable for what we needed.
Pros:
-Center strip so very easy to walk anywhere you desire.
-Front desk was very helpful! We had a partial payment in cash and wanted to upgrade from a Fab room to a Go room, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful.
-Room service did a good job at cleaning our room every day and providing fresh clean sheets and towels.
-Bed was super comfortable
-The cafe's downstairs were very tasty
-cheaper than most hotels on the strip
-Go rooms have coffee makers and refrigerators for storing leftovers
-Very easy to store luggage with bell desk + they have lockers for storing laptops before check in/check out.
-Real flamingos!!!
-Our bathtub was huge and perfect for soaking after walking for 4 hours everyday.
-We had plenty of hot water, unlike a lot of the reviews for the hotel??
Cons:
-check in took FOREVER. Probably 30-45 minutes waiting in line, I would recommend the express check in if you can.
-Walls are THIN. We could hear the people next door having a good time and later snoring. Bring earplugs if you're a super light sleeper!!!
-Water pressure was horrible. Took probably 15-20 minutes just to fill our bath tub.
-Check out took forever since the express check out machine didn't work for us.
-Buffet is horrible
-Minor damage on the furniture and wallpaper, but this is purely aesthetic.
-WiFi costs extra
**Some of the reviewers on here complain about the timeshare people.. just walk on past them. Yes, they suck, but you are 0 percent obligated to talk to them at all. Be a little bit brave (or rude) and just walk right by them, or just politely say "We're not interested, thank you" and keep walking. It's not hard, I promise!
Fact of the matter, you're staying at an old hotel. Don't complain about the wallpaper in the halls not being spotless since this hotel has been around for quite some time. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, and that's really all you need when you're in Vegas, right?
