| - My boyfriend got me a surprise present at this place for Valentines to get my hair done by Rick Dickerson. The first issue, was when my boyfriend spoke on the phone with Rick saying that he wanted to get me full- highlights and rick insisted on my boyfriend not purchasing a Groupon so rick could save money, but at the same time would honor the price of the Groupon which was $64 and have us only pay $20 extra to get full-highlights instead of partial-highlights. Second, Rick was fine with it, but when I went to get my hair done, Rick said that I was only getting partial- highlights and that the $20 extra was only for more highlights on top. I had told my boyfriend about this complication and when I rephrased the conversation between my boyfriend to Rick he said that the price for full-highlights would only be $125 instead of $225; my boyfriend ended up tipping Rick $20 + the $125. Third, Rick ended up bleaching my whole head, doing a full line of low-lights on both sides of my head, as well as, the back, put toner in it and cut my hair shorter than I showed him. My hair turned out to be piss yellow, my low-lights look like a kid took a crayon and drew lines in my hair, along with having random blotch spots throughout my hair. Not only was he complaining the whole time on "making him work", but also had me hold the foil box the entire time doing low-lights, and he does work SLOW I am the most disappointed disabled veteran to have my Valentine's weekend ruined and all my boyfriend was trying to do was surprise me with a lovely gift to get pampered. I have been going through a stressful time the past couple of months and just wanted to enjoy something nice. Rick said he had 30+ years working on hair, but I'm not sure if he was working at a salon at Walmart during those years because I could have have gone to Walmart and gotten the same shitty result for a cheaper price. I will not be returning to this salon ever and thank god that I am going to someone that can undo such a horrible experience.
