If u have lived in Vegas for a long time or grew up here like I did , you remember the old Wet N Wild. Tucked right next to
Sahara on the strip. I don't remember everything about the old wet n wild but I remember it being way bigger and having more rides.
They should have built this place a looooooong time ago because we need it here in Vegas but it's here now so enjoy it !
Parking lot is kind of small and if this place had more people I don't know where everyone would have parked. Parking fee is $7. We came after 7 and tickets were only $20 ! What a steal we even had time to ride most of the rides before the 10 pm closing time. Lines weren't crazy though. They have rides and attractions for all ages. If you don't want to go on the rides you can hang out in the wave pool or in the lazy river. They also have kiddie slides and a pool for the little ones.
Lockers range from $10-$12 depending on the size of the locker you want. A large locker easily fits a ton of stuff. You will get a waterproof wristband which you put up to a scanner and the locker pops open ! Pretty cool. So no need to remember which locker is yours in case you forget.
The cons about this place is that you're not allowed to bring in outside food or drink except water. Which kind of sucks because the food is pricey for what it's worth and ehh it's standard amusement park food. Nothing special about it. Also I can only imagine how hot the ground is during the day with that hot Vegas sun beaming down on it. So wear water shoes. That way you don't lose them in the water. Also , don't waste your money on inner tubes. All the rides provide you with a tube. You would only need one for the lazy river or wave pool IF you wanted one. I'm sure you could find one for free there were so many laying around. My advice is come midday and eat before hand that way you have time to enjoy yourselves here definitely get some dippin dots and bring your protective wear for your skin and feet and have some fun in the sun !
