| - Admittedly, I am not a fan of the laser wash concept, and I know I'm in the minority. I take care of my car, but sometimes you need to physically beat the dirt off. This is where Tidal Wave comes in.
On first visit, it can be confusing. You pull in and start with a thorough vacuum (free for people buying a wash! Free!). Even after the renovation, the vacs can be hit or miss. Some will suck the color out of your carpets...others struggle to even sound like they are on.
Once the inside is good, pull up to the wash selection stations, select your wash and wait for the arm to rise. When you round the corner, an attendant will help guide you onto the conveyor belt and give your car a pre-soak. Put it in neutral and enjoy the ride!
Like I said, as it pulls you through the wash, the brushes make full contact with your car. I find this makes for a cleaner car. Price wise, when you add together the wash and vacs, it's on par with the wimpy gas station washes.
