  • I had been looking for a new salon to go to for awhile, and after doing a lot of online research and listening to a few others recommendations I came across Sheri at Isle of You, and I knew I had found the place. To make an appointment is easy - you can go to her website and schedule it online! This is wonderful if you have a busy schedule and can't always make a call when a shop is open. Along with this, you can receive text and e-mail reminders of your appointment. It was so simple! And she has on the site her average price ranges for services, so you already have an idea of around how much you will spend walking in. There's no staggeringly big surprise at the end of your visit for how much you owe. I went in a week ago to get my hair cut. I had long, thin hair and was always considering doing a short cut but wasn't sure. Shari was honest and supportive, without being pushy in the least. She just offered her opinions and let me decide for myself. She was wonderful at explaining what she was doing in a way I could understand - with an idea of what the FINAL outcome would look like. Asking for my input as we went along, but also explaining why she was doing things the way she was. My mother had come along for the ride and liked her work so much that her and my friend went back the following week! Her salon has a wonderful vibe, and is relaxing and at ease. She puts a lot of time and attention into each customer. Shari is easy to get along with, and a genuinely wonderful person. Her salon also sells a few products, along with other nifty items such as amazing smelling candles and soaps from Divine Sensations. Overall it was a lovely experience, and those I have recommended her to loved it, and I will continue to recommend her to absolutely everyone!
