We have been here a few times now and I have to say I think the sparklings could bump it up a notch. The food is good, not excellent. The Bloody Mary beef skewers were good. The half rack of ribs were good, the sides were ok, the steak Diane was good, the grilled vegs were good. And we had the flourless chocolate cake, it was ok, didn't have any fresh berries on it... all too meh....
The service was good. Had to wait a bit long for our waiter to take our drink order, the busser seemed to pick up were he was too busy.
The ambience is ok. Too bright for dinner in the dinning room and not cozy. Stale shabby chic. The restroom also not very clean and run down.
They do have a good selection of beer on tap and some decent wines, but dang, way over priced! I guess that's why you just come here for happy hour.
If we do go back it will be just for the bar happy hour and not a special occasion.
