  • I was really surprised to see that this cab company has an overall rating of only 1 star. While I used the Las Vegas Monorail almost exclusively during my time in Vegas, I used Vegas Western Cab Company to get to and from the airport from the SLS hotel and also used this taxi company once during my stay to get to a meeting that was off the strip. In all 3 cases the taxi drivers were friendly, personable and talkative but not to the point of being annoying, taxis were clean and all taxis accepted credit cards, with a credit card reader mounted on the back of the passenger seat. In one case I'd forgotten something in my hotel room and we needed to return and I asked the driver to wait for me. No problem - he dropped me off, told me exactly where he was going to park and a few moments later once I returned with the stuff I needed to get from the room, he was there waiting for me as promised. The only minor annoyance is that there's a screen mounted to the back of the passenger seat welcoming you to Vegas and then showing an endless, annoying and overly energetic loop of advertisements for various Las Vegas shows, restaurants and attractions, but passengers do have the option of muting those, thank the lord!
