| - Today was my absolute LAST time in this salon. So from my last review, I did go back. My primary issue was the polish, but I've since discovered gel polish-late I know. Anyway, I've been going regularly since about November. When I say regularly I mean bi-weekly. Now I typically don't get my nails set here just because I don't care for how they lay acrylic or shape nails, so I come for a fill-in and pedicure. The woman that usually does my nails was not in today, so a young man did my nails-he was the same one that did my fill-in 2 weeks ago. I'd never seen him there and he did a decent job. Yesterday I went to my regular nail tech and ended up smudging my polish, she unfortunately doesn't take appts on Sundays so I came to Milan as it's my secondary spot. Today I went to Milan for a polish change only to get gel polish. My normal charge for a fill-in with gel polish is $25, today they tried to charge me $20 just for a polish change! While removing the polish I had on, the young man was trying to critique my nails asking if I did them myself?! What??? He then goes on to ask if I want him to file them, I said no. He asked twice about removing my glitter and I told him NO, he tried to tell me what was on my nails wasn't acrylic! Like dude what the heck, just change my polish!!! That's it! I have an acrylic overlay on my natural nails, they are short and square. My nail tech is highly known and her work is flawless, I feel like he was looking for error and something to try to charge me more for. I go to check out and he says $20. I'm like what??? We went back and forth about the price and I ended up saying I would never be back. Do you know he said he didn't care, just go! Not surprised, I came here because they were actually nice and gave good service, but these new minions they have working there are bringing them down. They don't care though because we're just another dollar. I left, but came right back because during our exchange he tried to refer to the pricing pamphlet and I wasn't hearing any of it. I picked up the pamphlet when I walked back in and made them aware a polish change is $5 on the pamphlet, so it's $15 more for gel? He tried to argue yes. Sir, no. If I pay a normal $25-$15 for fill in and $10 for polish where is the disconnect??? You're trying to over charge me because I declined any further services! In the end he gave me my $10 back because he had no argument. Today Milan showed me who they truly are. Trashy! Hate I ever came back.
