We had visited Pizzeria Antica last week. First of all, the food was fabulous -- all fresh ingredients, but I was a bit disappointed in the atmosphere. The dining area was much too bright and uncomfortable. I felt that I was sitting in a high school cafeteria with bright lights and larger tables. I would highly recommend that they dim the lights and get more tables for 4. The staff was very friendly, but needs to learn how to open a bottle of wine....and perhaps serve the wine to the patron instead of handing them the bottle. They had no wine glasses, just water glasses.
Growing up in Chicago, I felt that the pizza was a bit soggy at the bottom. If fact there was a puddle of liquid on the serving plate. I would have like the bottom crust to be a little crispier.
