  • Made the (long) drive out to the farm for their Thursday Market [4:30pm-7:30pm] It was definitely worth it! My two year old loved seeing all of the cows, the donkey, sheep (baby ones too), chickens etc. Even more he loved seeing the different tractors parked around the farm. Little boys and their tractors. Next week they are doing 'Cantaloupe Bowling' for the kiddos! For me, I really enjoyed the market. I only shopped for vegetables but I met a really nice man named Steve. Pretty sure he is running the show. Everyone who works the farm is incredibly kind and welcoming. I got a TON of multi-colored carrots, beets, squash, unique tomatoes, organic peaches, organic apples, celery.... all for less than $30. All in all, the experience combined with the great local veggies will keep me coming back each week.
