  • Giant Eagle Market District in Solon is the biggest Giant Eagle I have ever been to. I usually shop at the one in Bedford but decided to check this one out instead because I needed to get a cake for my niece and nephew's birthday party and I thought they would have more options because I heard it was a larger store. Boy was I right. The employees working in the bakery department were extremely helpful- working with me to figure out the right cake for my last-minute party. They were even able to decorate it on the spot. Another thing I really appreciated about this GiantEagle was the fact that they had actual living cashiers. Not just the do it yourself lanes. I'm so tired of having to scan my own groceries. I'm not lazy I'm just slow and not very good at it! And my cashier must be really good at Tetris because she managed to put over $300 worth of groceries into six bags. I was impressed and it made loading and unloading the car super easy. cred to Daphane C.!
