  • I really need to get on my game, procrastination is such a terrible vice! First up thanks to Taylor and Yelp for setting a family oriented outing and of course to Discovery Children's Museum and staff for a fun filled day of exploring. It's always been in our list to visit but just never got around to it, so it was great getting that opportunity. There were a lot of highlights throughout the museum but particular stand out was the water area which my 7 year old immensely enjoyed, she was soaking wet by the time we were ready to head out. Good thing we saved it for last! Also enjoyable on the 2nd floor was making our own art and converting it to puzzles afterwards. The hurricane simulator was pretty exciting as well. Over on the 3rd floor is geared for older kids and really gets the creative juices flowing. Kinetic sand pit was my fave lol such a stress reliever, I need to get me one of those stat! A good couple of hours to get lost and learn is a great day in my books! The staff is very well trained and proactive, kudos! Great place for kids overall.
