  • My fiance and i have been struggling with an older Sony Bravia TV because we love the picture quality but it is a very heavy older flat screen (108lbs, according to Sony). I purchased a mount from Amazon and the reviews indicated it was good for the price and that the quality was not amazing but would get the job done. I also tried their home service install and was a nightmare so i took to yelp and my search led me to EZ TV mounting. From here on it was incredibly simple and straight forward. I called and explained what i wanted to do and the mount i had, Joseph asked me to send him some pictures of the area i was thinking of mounting the TV. I sent him the pictures and he gave me a quote and scheduled a date for the installation. Seemed reasonable with what i was quoted originally by Amazon. Once he got there Joe was very professional and on time. He took a look at the area i wanted to mount the TV on and confirmed my fear which was the vertical mount that i had purchased was not the best indicated for the job. The other idea we had come up with was to cantilever the TV with a flex arm mount which we had considered but again was nervous due to the weight of the TV. He assured me it was not an issue so i purchased a flex arm mount from him (great price, i had already researched a couple) and we installed it. Could not be happier, the room looks exactly how we had envisioned it. If you are considering getting a TV mounted i can tell you, Could i have done this? Yes; Was it worth what i paid to not have to? 100%.
