| - Ohh La La Patiserrie is a delight for the taste buds, heart and soul. The shop itself is cute and quaint, and the owners and staff are kind and welcoming. All that I have tried at the patisserie, which is nearly everything, have always been delicious. Even if only for a short sweet moment, Chef Sebastian's desserts take me away to a dreamy paradise. I do not mean to sound over-the-top, but I just want to express how amazing and magical I think the chef's desserts are.
I find that the chef has an amazing ability to create balance in his desserts and pastries. For example, his beautiful macaron cakes are surprisingly not overly sweet or heavy as they may look, but are still packed with mouthwatering flavour and texture. They are a great choice for any occasion, be it birthdays, anniversaries, or maybe a get together with friends. For all his cakes, desserts and pastries, I really do believe you pay for fine quality (this is coming from somebody who is by no means well off).
I do believe that the macarons and croissants here are the best in town, and perhaps outside of town too. Currently, my favourite pastries/goods are the butter heaven croissant, pain au chocolat, pretzel, maple cinnabrioche, caprese roll, nutella scone, nacho roll, pistachio macaron, dulce de leche macaron, lavender milk chocolate macaron, and white/milk chocolate cookies.
Every visit is a pleasure, and I am always enchanted by every new or familiar dessert made in store. I cannot wait to go back for more.
