I went on true car and found a deal on a sonata at this dealership. I called and spoke to Michelle who went over the deal, that the car was still there, and even said they have 0% financing for 72 months in this car at the price shown online. I told her that I would come by later to take a look. I get there and ask for Michelle because she said she was in sales and she comes out and introduces me to Kel and says he knows what's going on and will take care of it. Kel was clueless. Not sure if he is new or just not good at sales but he didn't know where anything was. After a test drive we go over credit and the credit came back really well (above 750). He had a hard time believing that I don't have a mortgage payment (my house is paid for). He then wanted me to show proof of the deal on true car. I told him that the same deal is visible all over the dealership and most cars show the appropriate markdown. I then pulled out all the truecar info and showed him the pricing and he took the deal to his manager to see if he could get it approved. He then came back and tried to strong arm me into the Desert Package B.S. which is a window tint and nitrogen filled tires for $2000+ and I absolutely refused. Then he told me the interest rate is almost 7% because I was going through truecar and that Michelle had lied to me and said if he was her boss she wouldn't be working there anymore because "she does this all the time". I told him no and he wanted to make me initial a paper stating that if he got the price where I wanted that I would immediately purchase. This is an old BS sales technique which I refused. He then told me that I was mad at him and he was going to get the manager. I'm not sure if this is a sales technique they are trying to use but to tell the customer that they are mad at the sales person doesn't really work. The manager came over with the same old crap I've already heard then he started to say he doesn't want me to leave mad at either of them and he didn't understand why I was mad when he gave me free water and test drive. I couldn't believe it so I left. I went up the road to Toyota and was in and out in under two hours with a new car. Never going here and never recommending this place. I was there for over three hours and there were plenty of people storming out.
