| - The two-star rating is for the food only. This is really Chinese stir-fry disguised as Malaysian food. The vegetables are mushy and the food is oily. Some of the spices are in there, but not all, so your beef rendang will not taste like it should. It tastes okay--it's not bad, but it's more like a stir-fry imitation of what the dish should be, not the original, and it shows.
The servers were friendly, the place is clean, the prices seem fair, the location is convenient with lots of parking, and we were waited on promptly. No complaints. The decor is standard to any Chinese restaurant. And they have a nice-sized bar in there, which is good. People in the restaurant business are on their feet all day and work really hard, so I don't like to leave less-than-positive reviews. If you come here without expectations, you'll probably like it.
