| - I will preface this review by saying I'm really just not a fan of Starbucks to begin with.
I was in Garfield Hts to run an errand and had a killer migraine that wouldn't quit and espresso shots always do the trick for me. Resorted to Starbucks because I'm unfamiliar with the area.
On the menu, they had the pricing option for an espresso shot added to your drink, and also two different priced sizes of just straight up espresso. I asked how large the more expensive option was and was given the answer "Uh, well you can get it in any sized drink?" She tried telling me I could get it in one of their lattes, or cappuccinos or whatever sized drink I wanted. Or a pumpkin spice latte. No...
I tried explaining several times "no, really, I just want an espresso, people drink them plain" but she clearly was just not picking that up so I finally settled by just saying fine, I'll take a black coffee with an espresso shot in it. $3.85...
I mean, I'm not a pretentious elitist coffee drinker or anything, and I realize their average customer is ordering a milkshake, but if you work in a coffee shop you should probably know what an espresso is. And that they don't always go in pumpkin spice lattes.
2 stars because it did take care of my migraine and would have been an "ok" cup of coffee if it were priced accordingly to the quality.
