| - Horrible. Just a horrible experience at The Dump.
I would write more but my blood pressure rises when I think about their shotty customer service and how my $700 refund for a rug I never recevied has yet to be credited back to my bank account... 2 months later.
HORRIBLE.

Okay, I am now emotionally ready to talk about this.
September 11, 2010: Ordered a rug from The Dump. The size I needed was not in stock, but the rug manager, Julio, told me he could get it to my house by the next Friday, September 17, 2010. He assured me that if there was a problem with getting it to me by the next week, he would call me. No call, no problem.... or so I idiotically thought.
September 17, 2010: No rug.
I gave it a few days....
September 24, 2010: Rug is 1 week late. Called The Dump. No answer. Called again. No answer. Called again. No answer. Repeat 5x.
September 25, 2010: Still no rug. Still no answer at The Dump.
September 26, 2010: Still no rug. However, The Dump answers their phone! I speak to Julio who tells me he will look into the status of my rug and call me back. Julio did not call me back.
Now, I should mention my biggest frustration with The Dump. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They do, however, has a customer service number that is available during the week. The customer service reps are located in Georgia and dont, for some bizarre reason, have access to The Dump's system. Not sure how a company can run a good customer service center when they cant access the system......
The week of September 27th consisted of A LOT of calls to The Dump's customer service line. Each and every time, I got the same answer... "Your rug is coming from the manufacturer, so I can not see if it's shipped" or "I dont have access to this information. You can contact the manufacturer directly." When I asked for the manufacturer's number, they did not have it. When I asked for the manufacturer's name, they did not know it. They evidentially didnt have access to that information either. Very frustrating... I bought a rug from The Dump yet I cant get an answer from The Dump.
October 1, 2010: Still no rug. Customer Service got me no where. Call to Julio, the rug manager, again. He promised to call me back with the status. No call back.
October 2, 2010: Still no rug. Still no call back from Julio. Julio is now 'unavailable' but will call me back when he can.
October 3, 2010: Stil no rug. Still no call back from Julio. Showroom closes. I am screwed for another week!
October 7, 2010: F it. I call customer service and cancel my order. The Dump can shove it! I am assured that my money would be refunded within 72 hours. I laugh, because I know this isnt true.
October 8, 2010: O....M....G. I get a call back from Julio. He is concerned because I canceled my order. On a side note, it took every ounce of self control in my body not to flip my sh*t on Julio.
October 11, 2010: 72 hours has come and gone. No refund. Customer service can not tell me why. They dont have access to this information. :l
October 15, 2010: Call to The Dump. They inform me that they will gladly refund my money... except for a $50 restocking fee. I never got my rug. What are we restocking?
October 18, 2010: No refund. Customer Service can not tell me why. They dont have access to that information.
Over 1 month. No rug, no refund. I'm $700 in the hole and not sure I'll ever get it back.
To be continued. In the meantime, I ordered the exact rug, in an even bigger size, for $100 less than the one I found at The Dump. It shipped in a day, and was received in 3. www.RugStudio.com= 5 stars!!!!
