  • Our experience at Scottsdale Springs has been dreadful. Don't move here. The grass is dead everywhere. The view from my front door is literally a pile of garbage. There was once a SPIDER NEST outside my front door, that I had to walk through to get in and out. I asked management to remove it several times (was ignored), except for the third time the property manager told me to "power through it." This sounds like an exaggeration - it isn't. We wrote a letter of complaint to Mark Taylor corporate, about the spiders, what management said to me, the fact that our second floor patio is a plank of rotting wood, etc. Mark Taylor didn't even respond. Our next corse of action will be to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Consumer Protection Agency (and all of you other bad reviewers should too!), mostly on the basis that the complex is lying to people, falsely advertising it, to get them to move here. The complex was ugly when we toured it over a year ago BUT we were told that they were in the process of renovating and upgrading the complex. We though "okay, it's Mark Taylor, their complex's are usually nice. So what if it's ugly for a few months?" We were told that construction would be complete by Feb 2015. It's August and the renovations haven't even started. Moreover, over a year later, we now know that the City of Scottsdale hasn't even approved the upgrades, so there is a chance that they may not even happen. Mark Taylor is still advertising the community to new residents the way it was advertised to us - with pictures of fancy swimming pools and two level fitness centers. These are a lie. We are all being lied to. Don't move here.
