I'd give 0 stars if I could. Today has been the worst flight experience I've ever had. I WILL NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE AGAIN.
First off, the flight was delayed by 40 mins because we did not have a crew to fly the plane. What happen next upset everyone. The plane had pushed back out of the gate and we sat in the middle of the ramp for probably 20 mins with no idea what was going on or any communication from flight attendants or pilots.
The pilots brought the plane back to the terminal and we were asked to grab our things and get off of the plane. Still without any explanation of what was going on. An hour later we were asked to board the aircraft for a second time. The same thing happened. We pushed back and we're ready to go and then sat again. No explanation, no communication from the crew. For a second time we are asked to gather our things and get off of the aircraft. At this point we lost our flight crew.
7 1/2 hours after our original departure time of 9am we were informed that we may not even have a way home with this airline until Monday morning at 9am. This happened on a Friday.
The airline was not sympathetic or willing to refund tickets or give food vouchers. Most of the people on this flight were at the airport at 6am and had not eaten since breakfast. Many people had kids and/or dogs with them and it was just ridiculous that the airline didn't care to keep anyone calm or satisfied about all the inconveniences and lack of professionalism they provided their customers with.
So here we are planning on arriving home 7 1/2 hours after our original arrival time. Empty stomachs and $75 vouchers only good to use on allegiant flights... like that's ever going to happen.
A 3 hour and 18 min flight (LAS to IND) ended up being 14 hours of traveling.
