  • I wish I didn't have to write a bad review because I've had nothing but great experiences with this pharmacy for years I've been coming here. Unfortunately, I hope this is brought to a superintendent's attention. On Tuesday, around 8pm, I made a call to the pharmacy to check on a prescription. (This has been ongoing for two days now). I switched jobs and my insurance was ending at the end of the month. I won't have insurance for 90 days. My doctor called in a prescription for 90 days to hold me up. To summon it up, everything was done. I have friends in the industry I called to double check I'm not making an unreasonable request to back track the 30 day supply I received a week ago, and they will give me 60 days. Three different pharmacists told me it can be done. One of the pharmacists from Mayo (who yes, happens to be my friend) called to make sure the pharmacy was working on the prescription. She spoke to a rude pharmacist. Clearly she knew more than him and he didn't like it. He promised her he'll work on it. The following day, I didn't hear anything from CVS. I called around 8pm to see what the status was and that same pharmacist answered. He said he couldn't refill it until next month. That's all. Obviously. The whole point of this was to backtrack the last prescription, so I could get the new one refilled. He didn't look into it at all. I called back and this time he answered the phone very rudely. Sounded very egotistic and was very condescending. I told him I knew this could be done but I was an inconvenience to him and he didn't want to do his job. He said "my friend" called for me yesterday and he told her he will look into it. I corrected him that she wasn't just a friend calling, she was a pharmacist at Mayo, calling on her shift. He also went as far as saying, "So you don't know for sure if your insurance will cover the 90 days, but you want me to process this?". Excuse me? Who do you think you are? Do your job. If it doesn't go through, it doesn't go and we'll call it a day. The fact is, I was an inconvenience to him and he just didn't want to do it. He screwed me over because now I have to pay out of pocket for three months. The patient didn't come first. My prescriptions were all transferred over to Mayo. After using this pharmacy for over five years, I won't be a returning patient. I'd really like to find out who was working that night shift on Tuesday, so hopefully his supervisor will see this and have a talk on how to treat people. I was never rude to him, yet he was rude from the start treating me as an inconvenience. Customer service has really gone down. Bottom line guy, whoever you are, lose the ego.
