  • I popped in to Sprouts today to pick up a few items for a Mother's Day dinner. I found the prices on items much higher then the other grocery stores we usually do our shopping. I was looking for some nice carrots and could only find pre-packaged bags with small carrots. Once I got home and opened the bag of carrots I found them to be old and limpy. I had also bought a bag of ice that appeared to have melted then froze again, the ice was covered with frost and had a funny taste to it. While I was in the store, one of the employees working in the vegi section was constantly picking his nose - yuck! The other thing I noticed, is the store had a " no firearms" sign outside, like it was going to stop bad guys from coming in with guns. Sprouts is creating a killing zone with this policy. Needless to say I won't be shopping there anymore.
