| - First of all, I'm not a big buffet person, so I may be biased, but I had high expectations of Bacchanal after all the rave reviews, and was quite disappointed.
We got there early for dinner on a Friday, and it was not packed at all. The decor and everything was quite nice, well presented. I didn't really care for our chairs that were like big sofa chairs with arm rests, making it hard to get in and out.
The food was just so-so, nothing that really stood out. The meat was either overcooked, or fish was just not tasty, crab was mushy, oysters were dry. I actually thought the pizza at Bellagio buffet was way better, and the only thing I really liked here were the soup dumplings, various cheeses, the nachos, and desserts. Clearly, not worth $60+! I would have to say the macarons and iced thai boba were clear favorites from the desserts.
Overall, I would rather have one nice meal, than so-so foods at this price.
