| - First, off...we paid $75 for our Saturday night stay and $25 for Sunday. We did pay an extra $30 something? for early check-in? but that was our choice. I don't? understand what all the complaining reviews? are about the Flamingo?. I mean if you want a 5-star? room you better go and pay for one!
All I ask for is a clean bed, with fresh sheets, a clean bathtub, ?and fresh towels. Yeah, the bathroom sink was run down and could use a fresh coat of paint....but does that really matter? The sink was clean and so was the toilet. The dresser was a little ran down, again it just needed some paint but the trash cans? were emptied, the sheets/ bed were? nice & comfy, and the blackout? curtains? were a must! All in all, it was a decent, clean room for what we paid. Oh, it was a non-smoking, King Fab room with a view of the high roller at no extra cost, I think we just lucked out with the view. (If that helps anyone).
As for the service at the flamingo, ?we didn't really need it or use it. We used the self-check-in?/check-out kiosks when we arrived and when we checked out. The only time we spoke with someone was to receive? a players card and that guy was super friendly and efficient?. I guess a couple of the cashiers? and blackjack table dealers were cranky, but we just walk away and laugh at them. LMAO. We don't? take too many things personal.
All in all, ?we enjoyed the total of maybe 10 hours we spent in our room (sleeping & showering) at the Flamingo for the cost. The location was the most important thing to us! We are not going to let a few paint chips on a couple pieces of furniture? keep us from coming back!
