Repair service technician talks a good talk but fails. We had repair twice for the same freezer problem, first was in warranty, second was after warranty expired. Ice cubes were clumping together as though they had partially melted and re-frozen. Neither fix really worked--because they were not the right fixes. What was occurring--and what we suggested to the technician when he was here--was that the ice maker was actually over-filling. A little homework online and we discovered the real culprit and fixed it ourselves with an easy adjustment. We are poorer and wiser now. Why didn't the service technician know about it? Too bad this appliance store has such a monopoly in Pittsburgh--it means they no longer have to try very hard.
