I wanted to love this show and experience so much but alas, I should have read the reviews before throwing down well I've $100 per ticket for the last row in the back.
The theater is lively, edgy and exudes a magical vibe. The theater was my favorite part of the whole evening. They have this 10 minute video montage all about CA and his career prior to the show starting. I can't explain why but it seemed almost obnoxious and like they were trying to convince us he is the worlds greatest and most awarded illusionist.
The show starts with the blonde lady and a funny little guy who does some magic... some kind of opening schtick.
The CA show portion is hard to describe and seems super hokey and just a lot of moving around. Between the running around on stage and waving of sheets, it felt as though CA was just not that into it. After watching some not so impressive stuff we got up and left. I would guess about half way into the show. Sad.
We went to Absinthe the night before and it was wonderfully inappropriate, hilarious and awesome... spend you hard earned money on that show!
