| - Since I was heading to Lux Coffeehouse next door, I decided to check out Pane Bianco since it got such great reviews, and I love sandwiches! However, they have a very limited menu (4-5 sandwich choices and 3 salad choices), and nothing on the menu that day looked that great to me. I did like that they had a separate side for to-go orders, since that really speeds up the process. I opted for the Market Sandwich, which rotates ingredients. On that day it was: Egg Frittata, Arugula, Balsamic Vinaigrette ($11, http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pane-bianco-phoenix?select=TRYOU_BlbS4tSff1H1O6iQ#TRYOU_BlbS4tSff1H1O6iQ), which was very average. The egg frittata was overcooked and the edges were very dry, and it also didn't have much flavor. I regret not going with the caprese since I love fresh mozzarella. In any case, I would probably be willing to come back and give Pane Bianco another try. They have a little parking lot area, so you should be fairly easy to find a spot. The staff seemed friendly, but they spent a lot of time chatting with each other since I was the only customer in during that time. Luckily I was going next door for coffee, because it got a little awkward standing there while they were conversating with each other.
