worst experience ever. Walked in and asked for a room, the guy up at the front desk didn't even look at me until I waited patiently and coughed "ah-um" and then said there was no more rooms when I asked if they accepted dogs. I then went on hotels.com and found a room and booked online, it was 2pm and I walked back in to the front lobby to get the room that I had booked; there was a lady and that same man still there not addressing me nor acknowledging my presence. The lady did look up after 5 minutes of waiting and told me "I can't do multiple things at once" and continued to look back down. The guy greeted me and I mentioned I just booked a room online; then said that the rooms were not going to be cleaned until 2 hours after check in time. He was very disrespectful, rude, and abrupt with me saying they do not have enough staff to clean the rooms; he said I would have to wait until 2 hours after the agreed check in time of 3pm. After discussing this with my mother, we decided to cancel our stay at this location and go some place else.
In my opinion, these customer service receptionists are hurting your business and not an asset nor a positive influence on La Quinta's welcoming image. I am telling all my friends.
