  • So my best friend and I bought a Buytopia deal- 5 classes for $30. A great deal for hot yoga in Toronto! The deal has now ended, and I have a few thoughts: 1- Don't look at the pictures offered of this place. It looks very little like the gorgeous space you see online. 2- The "locker room" doesn't have lockers, which leaves many people bringing their valuables in to the yoga space, something many other studios wouldn't allow. The showers are also divided by a glass partition, and I just find that weird. 3- Of the 5 classes I took, two, lead by Sofie, were wonderful and challenging. Two, lead by incredibly inexperienced instructors, were no good. 4- Classes are often overbooked, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the yoga etiquette. People can arrive late, the space can be overbooked, and people can bring their stuff with them to the class. All in all, other than Sofie, I don't see any real appeal to this studio. And the monthly cost is higher than (what I would suggest are) far superior studios. Unless you like a weirdly half shaved cat walking around, then this is right in your wheelhouse.
