  • Honestly, I don't know why the negatives. This place was amazing! Even with the cheap Carson Tower room we had, it was nice, clean, huge, comfy bed and pillows and an amazing view! We ended up on the 22nd (top) floor. Facing east but the way the hotel sits we had a great view of the Boulevard along with The D hotel and parts of the lights on Fremont street. Woke up every morning and watched the sunrise from our room. Staff was super friendly, no issues, room was peaceful and we heard nothing late at night from anyone. I was starting to wonder if we had the whole floor to ourselves until I finally saw a few people the next day. Arrived on a Friday at about 1pm. Checked in right away. The girl at the counter was fast and courteous. As far as the WiFi situation goes, if you don't already make your phone a hotspot in the those types of places, you really need to get with the times! Plus being in the Carson Tower, where we happened to be, we were in the 1/2 mile radius that allowed us to hop on the Downtown WiFi connection. Other than that, turn your phone into something useful (it's own hotspot) and your connection issues are solved! We checked out on Wednesday and had a blast staying at this hotel. Got over $100 in meal vouchers to use at the restaurants onsite along with their buffet coupons. Hubby won $ while playing the penny slots. And we enjoyed being amongst all the craziness of Fremont Street. My only one complaint, no free coffee in the rooms. You had to pay to use the Kurig if you wanted something in your room before you headed out. But no worries, for all you coffee snobs that have your taste buds backwards there were at least 2 Starbucks in the GN. For the rest of you who know good coffee, there is a Dunkin Donuts inside the Fremont Hotel.
