I was not impressed with the service I received at Yellow Jersey. I went into the shop on a weekday night to have my derailleur hanger adjusted. The girl who helped me wouldn't even let me finish describing the problem I was having, and only five minutes have looking at my bike decided that "that clicking noise is just the way it's going to be." umm, I don't think so. The manager of the store came over to look at it, eventually fixed the problem, but now, after only two rides after the fix, everything that was 'adjusted' is worse off than before.
The Yellow Jersey offers nothing more than the typical pretentious bike shop attitude. I will say that when I went in they were completely understaffed, so maybe it was just a rough day or something. But judging by the way I was treated, in a business where customer loyalty is crucial in maintaining a profit, I really think their convenient location for students is the only thing keeping them in business.
