| - 3 things that give this place 3 stars:
1.Once we were sat it was 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. This already had us a bit annoyed as a simple greeting and letting us know it'll be a minute can go a very long way. This was no good first impression.
2.We ordered a cheese plate, pretty simple but 35 minutes later, no cheese plate. We went up to the bar to ask and the lady went into the back and walked right out with it. I am pretty sure it was sitting there for the 35 minutes. No apologies either.
3.Finally, after an empty taster and an empty bottle nobody acknowledged us again. We were hoping to grab another bottle but when glasses are sitting empty for that long why give them more of our money.
Overall, this winery is gorgeous. The atmosphere is spot on and by far my favorite. The wine is delicious and the prices are excellent. But the service, ugh. Please put a plan into place and go with it. We never had 1 dedicated server and this is what this place really needs. We felt like we were getting whoever had time to help us.
Also, kind of another random vent: fix up your $18 cheese plate, this is kind of embarrassing. For $18 a cheese plate should have a decent amount of variety in the cheese, this was boring and basic. Also, 8 small crackers doesn't go far but hey, at least we had a enough almonds and grapes to feed a small family.
The thing is, though they sucked tonight I will give them another chance only because the atmosphere is top notch.
