| - Dr. Liu is a good doctor but his staff on the other hand, are vulgar. The back office staff are more hospitable and polite.
I was being seen in this office from the beginning of my pregnancy until I hit 8 months, after I hit my 5th month mark, Dr. Liu stopped seeing me and I was being seen by his PA Jennifer, she knows what she's doing but I expected to be under Dr. Liu's care throughout my entire pregnancy. On my 32nd wk I had an issue with my insurance, so I had to cancel my appointment that I showed up for that day, due to me not being to pay for the full amount which added up to hundreds of dollars just for a screening, with no insurance. I also cancelled my appointment for the following week, the lady that worked the front desk knew about my insurance issue. Due to my pregnancy being high risk, Dr. Liu advised strict bed rest, so I had to take time off work and have been off work for almost 2 months now, in addition, he also referred me to a High Risk Pregnancy Center, so, I was seeing at both Dr. Liu's office and at the High Risk Pregnancy once a wk, which was financially draining for me and my husband. When my insurance issue was finally resolved, I called their office to make an appointment, Dr Liu's office said that I'm no longer a patient of his, that he would no longer be seeing me due to missed appointments (that I had cancelled beforehand and in person because I wasn't able to pay the bill before being seen) I'm 35 wks pregnant and high risk. I thought a little consideration would help my issue, but no, I have no idea how my unborn child is doing and I'm terrified. How very cold hearted and in humane..I thought he was one of the most caring Obgyn that I've ever been too. I'm lost in the dark and very stressed. Thank you.
