  • I want to give 5 stars because Dr. Hartzfeld is amazing and delivered my first baby ever one year ago. I also should have posted this review earlier, but kept putting it off. I started going to this office when I became pregnant because it was nearby work and it was in Scottsdale and to be honest I knew less ghetto people go to Scottsdale and I wouldn't be among teenage mom's or people with a bunch of loud kids in the waiting room. The office is very neat. It does get busy and I have waited only one time very long, but it is an OB office and you have to expect that emergencies happen. The first visit I had was with Dr. Hunt and I should have switched then but I didn't. She has no bedside manners and I'm quite sure she was disgusted that I wasn't a size 2 tan, fake, uppity typical Scottsdale weirdo. I weighed 230 lbs and I know it isn't best, but it definitely could be worse. She told me I should gain about 10-15 pounds the whole pregnancy. Every time I went in to see her she was always in a bad mood and was disgusted when I told her I was walking for my form of exercise. Since each time I saw new front and back office girls every time also, I'd say they didn't care for the main doctor either. The final straw was when I went to see her about 6 months in and she was asking why I hadn't already chose my pediatric doctor for the baby or done my hospital registration yet and made me feel like I was dumb. This was my first baby and I had no idea about some of the things on what and when to do and instead of educating me, she made me feel bad. I immediately told the office manager I wanted to switch and that was that. I don't know how that beast woman is in practice or why of all specialties she would be in OB because you should have some type of empathy for your patients and actually try to be kind of heck even fake it. It gives me the chills just thinking of ever having her as my doctor even briefly. Dr. Hartzfeld actually takes the time to get to talk to her patients and answers any questions and doesn't make you feel like just a number. She truly is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone. I no longer go to this office because we moved to Goodyear.
