| - Let me start by saying that I am in fact the author of critically acclaimed car book "Smart, Simple and Easy Long Term Car Ownership" so I know a thing or 2 about cars and car maintenance. On 6/25, my wife found herself stranded by her 2005 Honda Odyssey which was towed to Sunnyside. Doug Kundtz, a service advisor called me to say that the engine had a spark plug that was completely stripped out. Having changed my share of spark plugs back in the day, I knew there had only been 2 plugs installed in the engine; once when it was assembled, and once at 103,000 miles by my local Honda dealer in Columbus, Ohio. I was instantly suspicious and told Doug I wanted to tow the van back to my dealer that did the spark plug change to have them check it out. Turns out that in fact that the technician at my local dealer HAD installed the plug incorrectly causing the problem over 3 years and 30,000 miles ago, and just now failed. As a result, I was not charged a cent by Sunnyside for their work and they pulled the van to perfect spot alongside their building that made hooking it up easy for the tow truck driver. Obviously, Doug had no idea who I was and would not have known who he was dealing with. I have spent many years representing people in cases involving suspect repair work. I want to state clearly that I would have no hesitation, what so ever to recommend Sunnyside. Thank you very much for your help and please extend my heartfelt appreciation to Doug on a job well done!
