  • After hiring Bulwark, it still took months before we stopped seeing scorpions, and then it was winter, when it has never been a problem before. But all summer, we didn't have a single scorpion and were very relieved and satisfied... Until they changed their chemicals in August from Cy Kick, to something else. Since they changed chemicals, I've found ear wigs, spider webs, a cockroach, and FOUR SCORPIONS in 14 days. But a lot of my complaints revolve around scheduling. Bulwark's big advantage is they offer free respray if you see bugs. Well, when calling to make a respray appointment, I've offen not received the 48 hour guarantee that their voicemail promises. And the scheduler doesn't really have the information they assure you of. For example, when making one appointment I was told I was one of the first two, so I was able to get a morning time slot before work. Or, so I thought, because when it was my appointment day, two more people had been squeezed in ahead of me, making me an extra hour late to work. Finally, my last complaint about the scheduling is that they keep trying to move up my paid bi-monthly visit. I usually get an automated call about 6 weeks later telling me I'm on the calendar "for tomorrow", so I press whatever button it is to reach a representative and schedule it for the appropriate date. If I went with their dates, I'd end up paying for 8 or 9 visits in a year instead of 6.
