  • Coffee renaissance in Vegas? Maybe not, but Mothership is doing a damn fine job with this black gold. The same people who created Sunrise Coffee also run this shop so I had to check it out. It's in the same parking lot as Weiss Deli & Bakery and right next door to Trader Joe's. This small and bright coffee shop, offers a decent selection of caffeinated beverages including my favorite, Nitro Iced Coffee. This stuff is amazing, fizzy and surprising smooth, plus the energy boost I received from it was much needed in the early afternoon. They also have a great selection of pastries; croissants, a delicious assortment of berry filled treats, and large tasty cookies, my lawd, the cookies. These are a must! The one con from my visit was the lack of seating, they only offer two tables that you can stand at while you wait for your order. I was informed that a few more tables will be installed soon, but no chairs, maybe this will change in the future? I was really looked forward to enjoying my coffee, snacking on some pastries, and possibly doing some work on my laptop, but I can understand why Mothership may not want to fall into that ever so cozy coffee shop mold. Great spot for that quick buzz on the go!
