UPDATE: Last night, my boyfriend pointed out that I slept very quiet. Troubled breathing after getting bronchitis and pneumonia at one point. Ever since then, I usually have breathing problems during my sleep and I'll snore here and there. So after one session, he told me I slept very quietly last night which was odd. He assumed I didnt sleep well. But I did. So I'm definitely coming back here weekly!
I found this place while scrolling through Yelp. I was looking into spas and this place popped up. I was always curious about the benefits of Himalayan salts and the benefits it offers. Always wanted a lamp as well. The pictures of this place were really convincing so I had to book an appointment and quickly checked it out.
When you first walk in, you'll encounter tons of Himalayan salt lamps! You must arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paper work. I arrived at the place between 3:06-3:10. Filled out the paper work for a good 2-3 minutes and went to use the restroom.
Before you walk in, you must remove your shoes. You have the option to bring a blanket in that they provide. I took one cause I was wearing a spaghetti strap. I looked at my phone and walked in around 3:15.
The place was lovely. Relaxation definitely touched me as soon as I walked in. There are about 6 recliner chairs that you can sit at. Thankfully I had the room all to myself! I was mesmerized by the LED lights on the ceiling. It would be nicer if a few of them were fixed. I noticed some of the lights weren't working but that did not bug me at all.
Because I was alone, it was easy for me to meditate. No distractions. Inhaling and exhaling the clean air was spectacular! Next thing you know I was in my zone. The receptionist came in and told me that the time was up. I checked my phone and it was 3:45... So I was a bit confused. It wasn't my full 45 minutes that I had requested for. Hopefully on my next visit, I'll actually get the full 45. I purchased the "first time clients get 2 sessions for the price of 1 ($35). I'll be returning next Saturday with a family member. Lets see how next session goes.
