I've been going to this bike shop for over 25 years. When we were kids John used to make us leave because we wanted to look at the bikes and not purchase anything. He didn't have time for no nonsense and he hasn't changed a bit.
John has been doing this for a long time. He's always busy and can't do his work if your hanging around in the shop he doesn't have no time to mess around so get to the point. If you get your feelings hurt easy this probably isn't the bike shop for you. but if you can handle a old man that is a little ruff around the edges he's a great guy. "there's no crying in biking"
He has a good selection of reasonably priced bikes, all decent name brands. He's got Road Bikes, mountain bikes, kids bikes he even has a good selection of lowrider bikes and parts. He can fix just about anything wrong with a bike at a reasonable price. If he fires off at you just fire back he's not going to get his feelings hurt.
