| - New review based on manis and pedis here: the short of it? I've had better.
I've been here twice for pedicures, once for a manicure and both times I have left with less than stellar results. The application of the polish is what really gets me. When I go to my usual place, my nails come out beyond perfect. And to be honest, that is what I'm paying for. I don't want it to look like I painted my own nails, I want it to be flawless.
On both occasions, it was not. Pedicure 1, the polish was obviously on the older side and clumping. She tried to fix it over and over until I asked her to redo completely. Even after this, it still looked bad up close. Then with the manicure, I had the OPI gel and there was polish on the skin beside my nail. Although it was just a small amount, I'm paying to NOT have that otherwise I'd do my nails myself....for free...in my bathroom with my cat.
So, for waxing? Sure. But I'm not so keen on their attention to detail, or lack thereof regarding nails.
