  • I had to change my previous good review I had on here. The first time I came here I just asked the receptionist some questions my dog never really had to be seen and he was fine. (He was very young. Puppy). Now I came back tonight and I am pissed they tried to charge me $1500 literally I just went to the doctor the other day and paid $420 for everything that they wanted to do to my dog. even though my dog tested negative for parvo he said he would want to retest him again just to be sure and to x-ray him again. When I went to my original vet that is not open at this time unfortunately they diagnosed him with a virus and gave us some medication and he started throwing up after taking this medication so I'm assuming he's having a reaction to the medication and basically they wanted to charge me $1500 here. Not only did they want to charge me $1500 but when I said can we just skip the x-ray and do everything else they refused to treat my dog. The man that came in with the list of the payment was very pushy with me too I even read that they had an eight hour IV listed for the dog and I questioned that. He responded like if you were sick wouldn't you want to get an IV? I was like of course I actually just had a stomach flu and it only took me two hours to get an IV for two IVs in fact why would it be eight hours for a dog and he try to say oh it's different for a dog. Then he was just being very pushy with me trying to get me to pay I could straight up tell he was trying to make a sale. Because I had told him I can't afford this much and he said all we have credit care plans or you can put it on card. I told him no and when I told him I just didn't want to do the x-ray and I would do everything else he said he would go ask the doctor and then he came back and said that the doctor refused treatment without the x-ray so basically I paid $75 to come in here and try to get ripped off. My poor boy is still sick and we have to look elsewhere for maybe a doctor that cares more also I had given them the pillows to show the doctor and they forgot to give them to me I had to turn around and go back for the pills that just shows how much they care about my dogs well-being. Shame on you guys I am pregnant and I came in with my three-year-old daughter and you guys are still trying to rip me off!!! Oh by the way I went to the emergency vet on Eastern and I paid under 250 dollars and my dog is feeling better already!
